Agreed. That powered riser for the new cameras looks good. Perhaps a powered riser for Epic/Scarlet in the future?

Is the Meizler not enough? We currently have the powered riser for the F5/55 which is merely power distribution. For the C300/500 we went a few steps further by bringing in not only power and hot-swap but dual channel audio and D.A.

Will ET still manufacture AKS for non-RED cameras?

I suspect it's profitable so it would be silly not to, someone else will only move in and pick the $$$$$$

I hope this means RED Europe will stock all RED Element as there is a very sad lack of purchasing these products in Europe without going direct to the USA.

If you are looking for the ET product line in Europe you have plenty of options. Namely CVP, PhotoCine and A.F. Marcotec.

I hope that ET will be left alone to do what they do best and also still sell add-ons for other cameras. Their micron line is fantastic, a rethinking of an industry standard but not so redesigned that it doesn't play nice with existing equipment.

In the meantime, yes we were acquired by 3ality Digital in August of 2011. As of NAB 2013 we are now part of RED with all of our 3D rigs (Atom, Pulsar, Neutron, Quasar) staying with the 3ality folks. ET is all about camera accessories once again.

Hey Joey, just to clarify: So is that two divisions then? one is staying with 3ality & the ET camera accs. division going with RED? Was not clear on that....or did 3ality make a deal with RED and sell the division of ET they aquired in 2011? I don't think RED aquired 3ality then no? ....just a bit of confusion in all of this so far...i just want to know if we see you in Burbank or now some other place when comes to 3d now.
