  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB party plan

If I decide to go, I'll try to make it. Some are over 21 and don't drink, or shouldn't, hehehe.

Last year the Red Team came to the FCPUG SuperMeet to take a bow and you can see that here:

This year the SuperMeet will be held at the MGM Grand on Wednesday April 16

Those of you interested in FCS and digital moviemaking and who have never been to a SuperMeet might find it a lot of fun. Lots of Red users there and this year it is going to be a BIG show. State of the Art A/V with Giant screen, 4K projector and seating for 1000. Plus over 30 vendors just outside the theatre doors. Some of these vendors will not be on the show floor.

Oh, and Apple will be there too. In a big way. And we hope the Red team will join us once again, if only to take another bow. We will be talking to them soon I am sure.

Is everyone on for Planet Hollywood, Tuesday the 15th like David Birdy suggested. Is everyone going to wear their RED T shirts, or will I look out of place walking up to the Sony booth haha.
 
I am planning my trip now.

Can we confirm on the 15th at Planet Hollywood?

I can only be in town for a short stay as I have to get a sub for my classes at the college.

Would be nice if we could nail this down for a par-tay!

If Red does something this same night, we can just do that instead. If they choose some other night, hopefully we can do both!

Can we do Wednesday 4/16/08 @ 7:30 PM ?

The "lounge" is being remodeled, in typical Vegas fashion the place is managed by an outside group by the name of " The Opium Group"..

There are a few other spots in PH, but I'm still holding out hope for the lounge and will check back with them in a few weeks...Adobeone have any pull in sin city with the Opium Group?

Looking forward to another RED/NAB party, last year was great.

But...... Wed is the FCPUG super meet and Apple ...... "will be at the SuperMeet. In a BIG way." According to Michael Horton.

So I vote for the 15th.
 
Nothing past the 15th, please! Lots of us leave Wed morning to get back to do the work to pay for the toys we buy at NAB. :)
