  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I guess the red glow inside those RED ONE renders looks a bit like the bare metal terminator? ;)

Elcurado, it's a GOOD idea. Please insistence all you want, and I'll add to it.

Even better to rent a theatre for some footage screening ala Sony CineAlta Festival. By NAB the prototypes should have racked up enough and varied material for a solid and jam-packed 20 minute presentation...

Maybe RED could sell us some RED tees, hats and a special edition RED Oakley shades.

We could make a little flick, something like "RED Horde", "Night of the living RED", "REDS" ... oh wait...

Tees would be great. I actually went into the Oakley store in Palm Springs a few months ago and asked if they had any shirts or hats (seemed like a logical place to sell them!) and the poor girl had no idea what Red even was, let alone why they would be selling them in an Oakley store.

Jim, if you do have some shirts or hats, you should consider selling them at the Oakley stores or online so the fanboys can start wear them to the shows and into Panavision and rental houses when they pick up their gear for current shoots :)

I remember receiving an e.mail from the RED TEAM about 5 or 6
months ago asking reservation holders what color hat they would
prefer. After several months and no goodies in my mail box, I
wrote back to inquire and was told, "maybe around Christmas....."
Still no hat. Maybe at NAB?

FYI-
Do not pay for NAB tickets, free tickets are a dime a dozen and available from any exhibitor. As we get closer to NAB they will be readily available.

Jim - they STILL don't see you coming ...

I wouldn't miss NAB 2007 for ANYTHING!!!
