  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The same.. We just stopped waiting for a content provider... if they eventually show up, thats great, but we have delayed long enough.

The specs are the same, the connectors are the same. Still the best 4K hardware player on the market with hardware security.

What about 4k displays? Any good options for CC applications yet? Has NAB 2014 been good to us?

So I waited since November 2012, after paying 1450$ in advance, because there was no content provider, which I did not need anyway? And now people can get it for 1250$? Do you pay me back 200$ ??

We dont take your money until stuff ships Michel... so you couldn't of paid in advance. If you have a pre-order, at that $1450 price, then of course you get to buy it now for the lower price.

Well, when I ordered I was asked to wire the money and I did in December 2012. I was also told later by my rep that if I wanted the money back I would lose my place in the queue. So this might be your current policy but it was not back then.

Well that was wrong.... i'll look into it. But the good thing is that your money should still be in your account then... and yes you of course pay the lower price.

Why don't you make your own film/tv production and distribution? At least actresses would be around the RED Studio all the time :)
