As i just paid for my new RED camera all i want to know is:

Will these announcements make current RED owners happier or make them wish they waited a little longer?

I will admit, I did love the RedFather gag. :matrix:

For the record I was the first non-RedTeam, non-exhibitor at the booth in 2007 by virtue of mapping out the closest access door to the RED booth, arriving a half hour before the show floor opened and running full stride down the left side hallway of the South Lower, Tonaci a few steps in my wake. I was also one of the first ten people to enter the tent in 2006.

I should really get to bed now, my wife wanted to talk about priorities before I logged on, not really sure what she meant by that :whistling:

The great thing about Red is that as a red owner, you always get happier. :sorcerer:

That's partly due to the updateable, modular design; but mostly due in part to the way Jim and his red company operate.

I shared their happiness for all the camera bug fixes during the last months but somehow this pre-announcement of the announcement sounds like a different game.

I am travellling for 20 hrs on a plane to see the Red booth at NAB !!

Perhaps this time there will be some Red footage shot by owners of the Red tent? I think that'll be beautiful in its own way, having come full circle from "scam" to having the "scammed" people film the event on the real thing

LMAO! I still remember when doors opened at last years NAB and watching a herd charge towards RED. A group of them hit the floor and had a hard time getting up. That shit was crazy! I gotta see this! :biggrin:

If CBS can have all day webcam coverage of amen corner at the upcoming Masters, would it not be possible for a company with the ingenuity of Red to put a web cam at NAB for those not fortunate enough to attend. Nielsen would be astounded by its ratings.
