  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Damn is he a master at building up the anticipation!... At this point he could be selling Dirt at NAB & I'd buy it.

Each delectable hint just gets us more and more worked up... I can't take it anymore. Please someone break into the offices again and find this info! (just kidding)

When's the RED TV show coming out? It's got everything you need for a successful reality TV series. Real life bloody violence, Episode title: "War at Red" Red Headed office sex kittens, Corporate Espionage (Office Break-in), Unforeseen disasters (The Flood). And Jim building up the anticipation every step of the way leaving hints as to the next industry bomb to be dropped! And that's just what we do know! The real behind the scenes antics must be priceless.

Hell, I'd be unbelievably stoked if something as simple as the RED Matte box surfaced! Please don't make me drop $7K on a complete Arri MB14. Based on the hints I'm sure their sights are much, much higher...

RedScratch for 1000$? Free with each camera? Or something like that?

I would really love to be there and watch the Others with their scared faces.

BTW, will anyone be documenting the reactions of the Others?

I don't know about the competition being openly worried about Red. Last year their strategy was all out denial of Red's existence. In both the Sony and Panny booths, when we brought up Red, the reps just looked puzzled and asked what a Red was. When we explained in the Panny booth, the rep just said, "oh you mean the new guys with the long line".
It seemed fake to me. They had to know. This was on day 2 or 3 of the whole "Crossing the Line" phenomenon.
 
Ok so I'm excited. No way I'm gonna make it over there unfortunately, but I'll let the good news settle in and then party with my fellow Swiss Reddies with some good ol' whiskey, a nice bottle of Almaviva and a fine Trinidad Cigar. Or maybe the Partagas 8-9-8 in the polished box? Well anyway, just make sure the news hit the rest of the world as soon as possible!

Ok, not really. I can't even afford time to get off class. /*sigh* If I had it my way, I'd be the first SC student in line to see scarlet (not the first PERSON mind you)... ^^ maybe i will be still... what time should I expect stuff to trickle out to the forums? say, 13 or 14 seconds after the booth opens? = P

Wish I could make it. I also ask for a little RED tent coverage via the internet so that your customers and fans can watch the carnage unfold.

Will there be a bigger booth this year ?

Last year, it was way too small for the crowd, ...it was insane...
 
I'm hoping for a 4K display in different sizes, say 17, 30 and 42 inches.
Lets hope we have a unit like the Blackmagic HD Link Pro to Monitor with and connect to my Decklink PCIe.
Hopefully the display can do all formats 4K/2K/1080/7020/SD 24/25p with all all the connections SDI/DVI/Composite RBG etc.

Scarlett, lets hope it is really is the HVX replacement with full 2K and interchangeable lenses.

What could top this ? I don't know but I'm sure the Red team are working on something.
 
4k at 17inches makes very little sense. you couldn't even see that amount of detail in a display so small. 42 and above is better

Im hearing scarlet say something , what is it , oh yeah

As god is my witness I'll never let sony sell people over priced underdeveloped junk again !!!!!
