NAB 2008 Video

RED team!!!

Would it be possible to make a funny comedic video to display at the RED booth during NAB? I was thinking it would be funny to have a video to "Eye of The Tiger" introducing all of the RED team members with some funny bios or something. Ill use myself for an example. Id be walking on top of a hill to some dramatic music wearing a cape and my hair blowing in the wind or something, id strike a poze, that poze would turn into a freeze frame, then some typed bio would happen. Nathan Garofalos, wants a RED ONE, but prefers long walks on the beach or something like that. Or like this video introducing superhero's for a male beauty pageant I put on at my high school.

I think it would be something fun to do. I'm sure you have more important things to do before NAB than make a silly video, but if anyone would like to, and its okay with RED, I would love to make video along those lines. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks.

hey Tenshredd7. you are the 'student filmmaker' who wants to make a movie but somehow at the same time want to go to film school too. rite? and why do u need to spam your stupid video all over the red forum.

i still remember u started a lot of thread about your 'up coming' movie, deleted the thread coz the reply is not in favor to u, spammed IMDB abt urself, begged for 2 million dollars from a stupidly designed website and so on...

seriously why are u doing this? what 'NAB 2008 video' got to do with ur stupid video? This is a professional forum. not a place for 17 year old kid to spam.

Sky1walker it's not smart to overtop somebody because of age (kind of boring internet stereotype),

I don't know what your talking about about my upcoming movie and deleted my own thread. I have a script that I am working on right now that I WANT to turn into a movie, and I definatly do not have an imdb page nor have I ever had an imdb page, and haven't had a website about myself to make my movie and asking for 2 million dollars either. I think you have mistaken me for someone else. The idea for the NAB 2008 video was something I posted to a reply in the Recon forum under the 4k section. It was sort of a joke at first but then someone replyed with a little bit of interest in it.

I am the student filmmaker who didn't get into film school. I was wait listed for USC and Chapman, I could have gone to longbeach, or northridge, but those weren't my top choices so I am reapplying right now with the hopes of transfering at the begining of the 2009/2009 school year. I know I have also posted on forum asking for advice and help in the jobs/equipment for hire forum, but haven't deleted any of my started threads...

There is no need for your personal attacks here. If you want to voice these issues, take them private. What someone else may or may not have done on another site or in another aspect of their life is of no concern to those of us here. No need for insults, you could at least try to reference his age properly. And you lose any shred of credibility yourself when you attack someone in this manner; not even having the decency to not come across like a 17 year old kid yourself. You want to keep it professional? Then I suggest you start by at least making an effort to type out "you" instead of "u" so you don't come across like a complete idiot.

No, I didn't go to RED booth last year, I didn't even go to NAB... But I am planning on going this year. I agree with you thinking that it would be better for them to do something along these lines in their off time as a RedUser treat. I should have figured that RED would have something more professional and informative about their products than a comedic video to display at NAB.
