MYT Works Glide - Slider Group Buy

Hi Thomas,

Yes - the store system automatically generates a shipping email for you when your order ships. Unless the message gets filtered into your spam folder, you should get the notice pretty much immediately.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Thanks

Would we have gotten an email if it shipped? Can't log into the store right now.

Wondering how to motorise my MYT Glide slider. I remember that MYT was supposed to be working on a motorised controller for this. I am planning a major trip a few months down the line. I need to also do a lot of timelapse in that project. Any idea if MYT is doing something or if any third party thing can be adapted to this.

I would ask Dito Gear. and buy their Belt motor and hand controller, cost little and the motor is really easy to adapt to anything and the controller is pretty much Industry standard and very easy to learn, takes minutes. Then also if you want to get complicated you can buy an additional box and run it trough Dragon frame which a lot of stop motion people just love to use and it's actually also a good program for moco stuff.

They also got a good epic/red trigger cable to go with it for time-lapse and stop motion stuff.

I remember getting an email from them with an introductory discount but it was so lacking in detail that I decided to wait...

The MYT motor solution is so cool and easy to use - it's pretty strong and accurate. Mount a belt with 2 fittings and a motor unit and your running the thing from Android - wish they release a iOS app soon.

Hi Etienne!

Please count me as interested...it'd be great if whatever model chosen for the group buy might have motorized options as well including pan and tilt for a head - if one is included.

Thank you! Look forward to discussing our other project when time permits as well :)

Hello RED Users -

Thank you for picking us for your group buy! We are really excited to be working with you, and hope to make the most of this opportunity for every one of you.

We want to give you a head's up that we are currently in the process of constructing a new site, so our webpage has some bugs in it at the moment. The store, we know, can be difficult to navigate. We're working on it. If you have any questions, need any recommendations, advice, or anything at all, please don't hesitate to contact our office directly by phone at (212) 337 3789. You can also email Julia at julia.borden@mytworks.com, and she will address any individual questions. We are more than happy to provide you with custom estimates based on your individual needs, which you can re-create in your shopping cart when purchasing. We will also be monitoring this thread, so if you have any questions that might be shared by others in the group, feel free to post them here.

We will be finalizing the details with David as soon as possible, and will give you more information at that time.

Once again, thank you very much for going MYT.
