So I will say upfront that I didn't shoot this film on RED. I was however shooting this film in November of 2011 when I placed my order for one :)

In any case, I'm super excited to announce that it will have it's world premiere inVenicethis year. The entire film was shot in Delhi and Mumbai in 23 days.

We have started a Facebook page for the film here.

Behind the scenes pics are here:

Looks really nice.
But I must say when I saw your behind the scenes shots my first thought was India looks it's best trough instagram. With the extra grit and such. So if it was my film I would runt the whole thing preferably trough a film print process and maybe even through a optical printer on old film stock or such. Or try to mimic that in post.

Ofcourse I have no clue what the film is about so I might be completely out of line. But I really like indian footage when it gets gritty. I saw life of pi as a poor pirate copy the first time, the first part in india looked splendid when it was shot as a screener. Later when I saw it in the theater and it was all clean I did not like it half as much... :) just as an example.

Pany 100 for what it does and the price it does it for is a good camera . Interested to hear how you handled the workflow. Congrats

Congratz Bob :D

Hi Bob, from Bob

the film looks interesting but the color correction could have been done better, or are those unprocessed clips?

Thanks. Yes there was no color correction on those clips. The final film went to Deluxe for grading. This film was shot on the Af100 recorded to the Atomos Ninja.

Fantastic news!

Way to go bob!

Please pm me your dates in Italy and I will do what I can to be there.

Wonderful news, made my day!

Thanks David. It would be great to catch up. My goodness, it's been many years! Once I get my schedule I'll let you know. Soon after the Venice screening I'll have to zip right back for a screening at another festival that happens in my home town (hint hint)

That is even more amazing news!

Looking forward to catching up if all the dates work out.

Congratulations Bob. I hope you do well in Venice. And getting into the hint hint film festival is no small feat. Wicked.

Look great Bob! What an amazing place to make a film. Congratulations.

Excellent news, Bob! Congrats.

...In a related note, Amal was on TV last week. I caught it half-way through (Roshan Seth searching through a desk at night), so I decided not to watch it for fear of spoiling the ending (its a pet peeve of mine not starting from the beginning).
