  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My Daughters music video...

Mark,

Incredible work, especially considering the time. I concur that it looks better than many vids on MTV. Congrats on a job well done. Best of luck to your daughter in her new venture.

Happy New Year!

Edit: Just noticed you added her name and song title to the RADIO CITY marquee too. Nice touch!

A lot of different looks there for the producer-types.
The pyro bit was a surprise ending. Truly beautiful work.
Talent obviously runs in the family. You got yours from your kids.

Mark, just showed my wife and we're really digging it. Your daughter has a great voice, catchy tune and a great presence.

Plus, we're nominating you for the Dad of the Year award. It's really nice to see you supporting her dreams like that in such a wonderful way. Cheers!

Mark, this question might sound a little bizarre, but since you claim to be a Redvolt addiict (i read it somehwhere) did you run this entire project on redvolts only?
I ask because redvolts is all we've ordered for our Scarlet..heheheh

Thanks Luc, Just trying to be a good dad... all you can do is help and support, one day she will be on her own fending for her self.

I'm glad you and your wife likes it too.

The night part of the shoot in the streets, yes. RED VOLTS all the way. :)
The studio part, we just plugged the camera into wall power for the day.

Wow Mark! Awesome work... one hellva talented family... Your work has always been outstanding but here your daughter has out shone you :)
Wish you guys great times in 2012 ~ All the Best!

Nice work. Catchy song. Best of luck to her. She did great...for a first timer.

Awesome work Mark! I esp like that Radio City background plate and marquis titles for the alley scene. Made me do a double-take cause I do not recall any dingy alley on W51th St by Rockefeller Center, lol

Nice work as usual, Mark! Your daughter has some talent, too!

This is ALL awesome, as good as it gets. But what I love is the cutaway after he lights the match.
You're thinking . "No way. . . He wouldn't . . . would he? . . . . "and BOOM. But you need a beat or two to ponder it.
And the $100 bill shot. That's so perfect for the song.

That kid of yours is talented, but she's also blessed with the world's coolest dad.

Great work Mark. In fact, I think you've influenced me the most here in Brisbane. Over the years, your work really raised the bar. Whilst I work on the small budget end, it's great to see just how much can be achieved with limited time and crew. Thanks for sharing. I'm always around if you need a hand for the next clip.

I was bored :) ... It's always good to have compositing skills up your sleeve. Only takes a few minutes to do, and gives a bit of scale to a very bland location. :)

Blushing... Thanks Carter.
