see photo's how to combine the stuff, all RED parts.
you need to remove some of the rosettes to make it work and use the round screw of the magic arm of the bombevf
Parts needed=
http://www.red.com/store/rail-components/product/dsmc-top-plate or the Brookwillard version as i did,
http://www.red.com/store/rail-components/product/accessory-attachment-bracket - remove all rosettes from that one
and use the round part of http://www.red.com/store/rail-components/product/dogbone-block
to fix it to the bottom of the evf -- buy more of those dogboneblocks, with a extra dogbone and 2 extra round parts you can even make other combinations.
the dogbone makes the offset to the top handle in 'chainsaw mode'
http://www.red.com/store/rail-components/product/dogbone-c-arched
http://www.red.com/store/rail-components/product/dogbone-a-straight -- my dogbones have fixing holes in the middle..
you need of course the top handle with a rail, but most people would buy that one anyhow.
http://www.red.com/store/rail-components/product/sliding-top-handlen
http://www.red.com/store/rail-components/product/camera-guide-100mmn
if you have already the tophandle, total cost is 325 $

nice! wish some of the handle mount details weren't lost in the shadows...
so. I had heard the SHORT LCD cable would not attach to the BOMB! looks like it DOES.
thanks for taking the time to lay this all out. Ingenious-

Thanks for sharing, Filip. Looks like a nicely compact option. How does it feel when you use the camera shoulder mounted? Can the EVF be placed forward and low enough to be used comfortably?

Filip,

looks great!!!

Also I can see some of Leica-R lenses there at your attachments !?

i was also worried about it, but it's just at the right place, and with the rail you can move it forward and backward.
i think it will be perfect for handheld when we have the 4-battery dmsc module and use this as shoulderrest.
also the Bombevf is so rigged connected that it acts as a left handle
