Hey! The FKB team is making a movie!
I know a lot of people come here asking for money to make their projects a reality. This one, however, is a little different. We already have 90% of the funds we need to make our film a reality - we just need help with that last 10%. I know 10% doesn't seem like a lot, but when you're already working for free and pouring thousands of dollars into the film - it really is a lot. Why not just lower the budget, some may ask. Unfortunately our lead investor wants to make sure the quality of the film stays high - so we have to keep a fairly fixed budget. And that's why we need help.
Who are we? A handful of guys from Canada who want to tell stories. Our first feature was funded completely out of pocket, and it played at film festival around the world… but because of the low budget we weren't able to get a general release for the movie. So this time we've lined up some real investors, and we are going to do this thing right.
What is our story? It's about two nice guys - Seth and Nole. They were once good people, but now they hold a multimillion dollar lottery ticket that's almost theirs. Soon they will learn that almost is a very big word, and that sacrifice is an even bigger one. Ally Was Screaming daringly explores the boundaries of morality, the cost of happiness and the chance of redemption.
What will the money be used for? We have the funds in place to cover the boring things like insurance and legal fees, what we need now is money to help get the props we need, and the crew members who know how to use them. To get the grip and electric equipment that will allow our work to shine.
So if you just want to share our project on social media, or have some spare change in your couch that you could throw our way, or hey, if you see as much potential in this project as we do and one of the perks interest you - we'd love your help.
