Back at Circuit of the Americas this weekend with the Scarlet. I'll try and post more photos and possibly .R3D at various frame rates and resolutions over the coming days. Until then, here's my on track rig for the weekend.

Nice! John, I have the same batts and was testing with my Scarlet-W today, it ran fine, but the display stayed showing 16v the whole time even though I ran it for about 30 minutes. I am using the base I/O v lock though, so that might be the difference. Hopefully this gets figured out in a near firmware.

thanks

hypercore? post pics! we all want to see the hypercores on a v-lock expander!

I have a hypercore slim which is great, reads percentage. I have 2 switronix XP L90s, those work fine, but show voltage and the voltage doesn't change on the monitor which is a bummer.

is that a 504 head? hows it handle all that weight from the 500

Yes its a 504, Ive not actually been out on track with it yet. It certainly feels like it might be a liiiiittle too much for it, but I think ill make do.

Im using Wooden Camera’s cable-less batter plate as a gold mount. I don’t get percentage with it but the voltage does shows up and does drop as the batter depletes. Ive thrown a AB Dionic on it and that does provide a percentage readout.

Not a Hypercore, just a XP L90 in gold mount

Yeah I’m getting accurate voltage with depletion but no percentage.

Is that a 500mm or new 200-400mm wth built in 1.4 converter?

Red Cameras are the absolute best, in my view, for glamour, high production value motorsport shooting. I can't honestly see myself going anywhere else...

Here's a video mostly shot on Epic Dragon and Inspire X5 ( ending is broadcast HD)
