Hello,

I just started my tests for my Motion Mount (on Red Epic) and I began to discover its benefits.
Regarding the global shutter, neutral density filters, etc. ... no problem, everything is clear.
But how to check when the polarizing filter or IR-cut is active?
If the Motion Mount is installed, does that mean that, necessarily, the polarizing + Ir-cut are active?…

To answer your two main questions. Yes, when the Motion Mount is attached it is always a Linear Polarizer and IR Cut is built in.

If you would like a Circular Polarizer effect you will want to utilize a Quarter Wave Retarder Filter and rotate as desired.

Hi there

We are doing test too.
Seems like some Zeiss Standard Primes T2.1 have some problems tu fit inside the mount.
Anyone with some info about that? we asked Red but no answer arrived yet.
