Well... I have seen it for myself 1st hand. This combo is incredible. Truly.

Native ISO 2000. The tonality is incredible... as is the latitude. Wow.

The apparent resolution is off the chart due to using every pixel for luminance. Shooting 2K at 300 fps is a religious experience. 5K is something I can hardly describe.

This one is not a toy. Get your hands on one and shoot it. It will change your world.

Awesome, now some R3Ds, please. At least we have something to tinker with as Sandy is coming here in Toronto, tonight!

I am very excited to do something with this camera. I love black and white.

Ok, so to me this begs the question, what would happen with 2 of these in a beam splitting rig. Run one in pure luminance, and one with a single high quality color filter? Either aim for a sepia look with a red-brown filter, or do something more bold with another color or even monochrome+IR. Could make for some pretty awesome looks. Would there be any technical problems with something like that?

Here is a JPG from the shoot Jim's talking about:

Director/Cinematographer- Michael Plumridge

Lighting- Alex Salahi

Model- Cora Deitz

I just got permission to post something... actually Jarred will add it to the thread. There will be a jpeg from a 5K original and a 4MB motion file that originated from 2K @ 300fps.

Can we sneak a peak at some Dragon grabs yet? If not now worries.

Just wow. Incredible stuff guys, I can't even comprehend what that would look like as a 4k projection. Thanks for the share :)

Side note, about to go downstairs to produce a show we're shooting on Digibeta. What a contrast

Digibeta? Do you make fire by rubbing two stones together?
