Hey guys,

So we have the Mac Pro with the AJA Kona 3 card and it's connected to the Blackmagic HDLink Pro, which is feeding to the Apple 30" Monitor. Everytime I do an easy setup for one of AJA's 2K settings, the monitor does some flippy crap and then the AJA control panel pops up with "invalid 2k format". Sometimes the thing just defaults down to 1080p. So can one of you learned folks on here walk me through the process of actually "seeing" full rez 2K on the big screen? Is there some small switch I need to flip somewhere? Let me know.

Well I guess its really not that important, i mean for now i can just use the 1080 crop function on the Kona 3, but it would be cool to know if there is a way to make it happen, I mean...I've got a monitor that can supposedly see 2K, I have a card which can spit out 2K, I have the HDLink Pro which can bridge the 2K, theoretically it should all make sense.:willy_nilly:

Except the fact that the Apple Cinema Display is not a Professional 2k Monitor.

true...what would you recommend as an alternative?
