  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Miraizon bought out. Final download January 31st, 2015

I have not, Paul. But I'm building a windows system now and Luigi Valtulini has endorsed version 2. I'll need prores on windows and can't afford the chance these codecs wont be attainable for awhile after the site closes. Probably they will, but for only $50 there's no reason for me to take that chance. There is an existing thread on this software, but it only references the older version http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?113653-Miraizon-DNxHD-ProRes-Codec-for-Windows/page5

I've been using V2 and have been happy. Though I imagine if we wait 3 months we'll know exactly who "NABed" them.

Any help??

Any help??

URGENT!!! - I had purchased version 1 of the Prores Codec from Miraizon (for windows) about 2 weeks before version 2 came out. Never knew there was a version 2. I've been having issues with V1 that are apparently resolved in version 2. I go to the Miraizon site and they're closed! Aaaa! Is there some way somehow that I could get a hold of version 2 of the Prores codecs for windows from someone?? I'll pay if I have to! PLEASE! (thank you!)

I actually own this software but I didn't download the V2 update in time. Does anybody have it?

Okay good news and bad news. First I found a copy of version 2 of Miraizon. Bad news is that it required you to pay an upgrade to get version 2 so the version 1 number will not activate it.

I did find a less elegant alternative, if you go to cliptoolz.com and download that app for free and it will transcode your video files to ProRes on the PC. Hope this helps!!

So I'm hearing rumors that Adobe bought them.

My buddy told me about Miraizon January 22 and I totally slept on it.

Will V2 work on future builds of Cine-X?

Might be worth checking out Cruncher It can transcode ProRes on Windows and is essentially like a standalone Miraizon.
