Menace II Society - slow mo frame rate?

[Tom S]

Does anyone have a good guess at the frame rate for the slow motion shootout scene in Menace II Society? (It starts around 2:30)

Most likely a Photosonics 4ER camera, which could do 360fps. Looking at the sequence, it's in the 300fps range

It's always tough to guess. So my suggestion would be to try searching for various frame rates on a stock footage site and comparing to your reference clip. (Personally, I'd have guessed it was something 60-120fps-- but even that's a big range.)

Yeah I was guessing the same range. Doesn't look that slow to me. And this was a small movie, so prob wouldn't have had a huge camera package. Some Arri film cameras capped out at 60fps, though I know others could go over 100.
