  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Meizler Module Features Video

MEIZER is so cool :) Just wondering how many extra vendors could start hating RED from now?
RED is not only replacing the "other cameras:, now it is about to replace everything else :)
Just need to figure out some lighting solution, mic's, add some extra gears to "rig inventory" And voila - we can have entirely RED movie studio.

Hang on - they already have RED movie studio in Hollywood! :yesnod:

I want, I just can't afford... :(

Awesome, I love the Ipad app. Any chance that a hardware control surface could be made to do shading for us in live TV land? (I hope TV is't a bad word around here...) I'm working on a control surface engineering project right now for main production. It could be ground shaking for some, see kickstarter in a few months once I get the production prototype built. Can't really say more then that.

I would love to make a shading console if the guys at red would help with technical docs and such, or they could just do it themselves. I really would like to be able to recommend this set up to some of our studio's.

+1 on that! I've been asked by several clients about using Scarlets as live TV/Studio/AV-events cameras, (so far I've been telling them, "not yet, but it looks like it's coming") so I've been trying to keep track of what's on the horizon to make this possible. Is this the module that's going to do it? For live-multi-cam, shading work surfaces do seem to be the missing link, after seeing this demo. If all of the shading and "looks" can be controlled in-camera from a remote location, live (while the camera is sending a clean feed), then all that's needed is a work surface that can be operated without the engineer having to look away from his monitors and scopes. Please put me on your contact list for your work on this, Zach!

As for Cinema style use, I assume that app can be set up with various security levels so craft services don't decide to get creative with the Iris control...

heh heh heh. Don't give up my friend... What do you think the Jule box is?

Might as well call it the Pandoras Box now :)

lol

you scheduled Dragon, Ketch? Congrats!

Please check this. You will see Ted's language skills - in Polish...

shot during IBC show in Amsterdam on RED's booth.

(Ted says in POLISH: "Good Day, This is RED :)"

At the very end Ketki says also in Polish: "People, buy RED (equipment)!"
