recently shot a doco with available light @ iso 400. Can't wait to have the 800 no noise ability.

That really is incredible footie! I HATE noise. . .and this looked really clean!
Is the new M-X chip 4.5K at 2:1? I don't like the super-wide-screen 4.5K on the One now.
Thanks.
Stephen
Please, please, please sell a RED Light Meter :thumbup1:
Hi there, Jarred. . .
If you shot that lobster at 4.5K, then you must have cropped it, right? My Build 21 does not have a 4.5K 2:1 option, and your lobster is clearly 2:1 on my screen, but your screen grab looks 4.5K super-wide-screen. Am I not seeing all of the motion image?
Stephen
I'll have to leave that to you computer wizards. I can't even download the file. It just downloaded straight into Quicktime and played for me (at a 2:1 aspect ratio). I can't find any way to download the .mov file anywhere.

Stephen,
If you open up the QT file and hit COMMAND "I" you will notice that the frame size is 2240x960 half of the 4.5K WS mode of the current R1.
It's the same with Mysterium X as it is on the current R1 sensor. Hardware in the R1 limits this. That is my understanding.

I am starting to want to keep my R1 more and more with this upgrade in mind...I see what your trying to do Jarred.Looks fantastic...!
You should have a version of the redmote with a light meter built into it
That B2Pro lighting site is very impressive. Anyone know of any Grip packages in SoCal that include a lot of B2Pro gear? I would love to shoot a short form project with several of their umbrella options. Love the concept.
