  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Meet " GHOST "

Ya know, even the Red haters have got to admit, that what Red have managed to do so far is pretty amazing.
Like, imagine aspiring to be a Sony, or Canon, or Apple, or BMW, or Nokia, or Pixar. And then, actually going out and trying to do it.

golden connection

golden connection

i guess i am a bit slow or i haven't seen it on the prototype in amsterdam, but anyway: was there always a full size HD-SDI output on the back of the brain?

it looks its the golden connection on the left??

I like the name Jarred but, personally, I can't wait for them to start popping up without names.

Man! The excitement never ends around here.

And doing it better while offering the products at a cheaper price.

RED is amazing.

Since we love to speculate here, I'll throw in a guess or three:

Jackpot was #1 off the production line. That is obviously Jim's jackpot.

Crackpot would definitely be Jarred. #2 He's using it to shoot Ghost after all.

I don't so much know the pecking order beyond #2, but the third camera off of the line might well go to Graeme. Graeme Ghost; the enigma behind the magic.

Edit: If Graeme doesn't have a mountain of DC comics then I miss my guess about him. :-)

For a prototype, it sure looks like a release assembly.
...and that 'aint bad!

So you don't think these are production units.

June was the last announced delivery for Stage 2. It is not too early to speculate that production has just begun IMHO.

Gorgeous shot, Jarred! What lens did you use?

Also, by "5K FF" you mean the full S35 size sensor, right? I think some here are confused and think that Crackpot shoots in FF35.
