  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ok, Thanks Jim. I figured it out, exported a tiff sequence 16 bit from Redcine X build 356E, Hey the footage looks awesome. I'm loving it.

Question, The size of the r3D is 1920 X 1080 correct?

Here's my attempt to upload an image. It's just got a slight curve, and minor tweak in the red gamma - it looked a little green to me

Nevermind - obviously flickr URLs don't work. I'll let someone else post something.

Very strange to watch footage shot like this, I mean vertical instead of horizontal....

Ben, goto "Go Advanced" when you want to post an image then "manage attachments" then attach the image, wait for it to upload. Then post.
 
Sorry to bother you guys, but I tried all 3 of the Windows versions (64 and 32bit), but every time I try to open the clip, REDCINE-X crashes. Any suggestions? Am I missing something? So excited to finally see this... so close, yet...

Can't believe it was shot at such low light.
Truly amazing!
Is that clip from EPIC or SCARLET?
Also, was that shot with the camera tilted sideways or was it cropped?

P.S.
Still can't open the "Chicken" clip in REDCINE-X. It crashes every time...

Now Scarlet Fixed is ready to battle 16mm or even 35mm film acquisition and also many of professional HD digital cine cameras like a F35, Genesis, Alexa, etc...:hurray::hurray::hurray:

Output @ 1920x960 as a REDcolor2+REDlogFilm from RCX-356E then imported in FCP Motion @ 1920x823 that has GenArts Sapphire Plug-in Film Effect and straightforwardly have got a beautiful Kodak color quality film stock like image,

also no CC applied with only adjustment that was to reduce Grain Amp to 0 level.

That's fantastic and a real milestone achievement!!!
