Yup. I have a full set of modded Hasselblads. LOVE EM.

Yes. I use my Mamiya 645 MF Primes a lot. They're a bit slow (apart from the 85, which goes down to f1.8) but for sharpness and colour rendition they wipe the floor with any Canon L Prime that I own. Plus, they're built like tanks, are super cheap from KEH, and look very cool when attached to a Red with some Viewfactor iron on it.

Now I'm building up a Contax set I was considering selling the Mamiyas, but I love them more than the market value.

Hi Paul,
What mount are you using - I have some of these lenses in storage but never thought they were usable on Red
(without being moded that is)?

We use the Mamiya 645 lenses which are great. We also have a Mirex tilt shift adapter for them which works well using Canon EF mount on Epic. We also have a 645 to PL adaptor from Les Bosher. Fotodiox have various mount adaptors too.

The 120mm macro, 150mm f2.8 telephoto lenses are especially good.

I believe the last batman Imax film used some of the Mamiya Tele's.

They are inexpensive lenses.

You need to watch for breathing on them which can be significant.

Good to know Dave - thank you
