Hi all, I'm in an extremely painful situation here with my RED Raptor 8K VV. I have 40 hours on this camera (worked fine).

The camera stopped recording on RED DIGITAL CINEMA 660GB PRO CFexpress cards.
The error message says "Media low speed inserted media is not operating at required speed. please remove and re-insert".
It happened right after I updated to the latest 1.2.6 firmware.
I tried backing up to 1.2.5 - it didn't help.
I tried downgrading to the earliest firmware version - you can't even download from the red's website, tried 4 different browsers.
Tried reseting back to the default settings
I tried different rental house cards - they don't work on my Raptor body but they work on a different raptor body. Obviously they problem is in my raptor body. I tried contacting red support but they don't do loaners/replacements, and all they can offer me is to ship the camera and wait for 1-2 weeks.
I have a rental booked for $3,000 that I would've made but now I have to loose my client and money because my Red just bricked on me.. So stressful and disappointing.
Meanwhile they suggested me to rent another body somewhere else and I'm not sure if I have to spend $$$ on a 2 week rental if I bought my own camera (that doesn't work, thanks to red).

However, this is unacceptable from a manufacturer of that level. I'm seeking justice here, who's gonna cover the loss of profit?

Only time I've seen this is when the media is very, very hot. Which required both the media and the media bay to cooldown. Hesitant to say I used canned air sparingly, but that's what I did and it helped.
