Mattebox....

[Brook Willard]

Oh banned, you're going to be fun to watch...

[lisa hayse]

Here is some Matte boxes to look into while RED is in the works.
Chrosziel
Petroff
Cinetech
Cavision
hysonfilms
Raven
Redrockmicro (?)
CVB?
genus

But what is really needed for RED is
a 4x5.650, 5x5, 5.650x5.60 and 6x6
which is the most sought after for RED lenses.

I hope RED comes out with a 6x6 as the 2nd awesome matte box.

Thanks Brook!

Seriously though, I am Jaron Berman.

Yep. To the moderator who physically rewrote my post - yes I am banned. When my account stopped working, I thought I'd try testing to see if it was a server error or if I'd been secretly censored. And go figure, I was hushed, twice!

So congrats, you guys know how to track my ip, change my profile, pictures, and even the words I post! How many other users' posts do you guys rewrite?

Tight clip-on matteboxes also make it difficult to focus most Zeiss primes.

The Arri MB20 is a sweet mattebox, might even be my new favorite over an LMB5. Anyone know what it is worth with whatever Red discounts may be offered?

[Mitch Gross]

Abel in conjunction with Arri is offering a specially-priced MB20 package for reduser. Please contact one of our salespeople to find out prices. We have the lowest price possible.

I'm going to ask the moderators of this forum again about posting prices. I was initially asked not to, but then I see others repeatedly posting prices for their wares. Don't want to piss anyone off, just want to play on a level playing field.

[Jarred Land]

We do have an advertising policy here at REDuser, and Abel is not an advertiser yet. Jason Ramsey is sorting out all those details for you Mitch, Pete just hasnt gotten back to us yet.

[Mitch Gross]

Thanks Jarred.
