  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

No Jim please.. Don't stop. It is so beautiful...

That is a damn fine camera and I do think it looks like something to shoot a siriouse shoot with. Very nice.

And i like the tease photos Jarred keep it up

OK, Brook. I've always liked you. We'll keep "leaking" out pics as we can... some without cables and batteries.

Sleep tight... RED is awake.

I see that group of four connectors at the back (LEMO type? a compact BNC replacement) look recessed- clearly a good design feature for mechanical protection. I wonder if the EVF / LCD cable will be available with a right-angle connector. Anyway what you've got there looks perfectly serviceable. Congrats to the team on getting this far, I'm sure NAB will be quite a party!

From what I can tell, the connector side of the camera looks to be nice and flush when no cables are connected. This suggests some kind of a panel could be easily made that fits flat against the camera, with cutouts for just the connectors in use at a given time, to protect the unused ports. Ideally it would quickly reconfigure to open or hide any specific port. Hmm...

Take that shot of Red and make it a pull it out centerfold in Maxim and see if anyone complains... :-)
