  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Wellllll, being that Doing FULL post at 4K (all the way thru deliverable) is kinda tough nowadays, imagine 5K ;-)

heh, heh, Frank, was not making light of your problem... I understand what you are up against and I wish I knew enough to have helped with an answer. As you noted, having the ability to capture in 5k and work with that much throw-away resolution, when necessary, is almost unimaginable, or at least would have been a few years ago.

For me, in your situation, I would stay with 4k as long as possible in edit at least, so I could crop when I needed to. That's just my philosophy.
 
EPIC(s) ME BABY!!!!!
As I have written in the past, I have been required to shoot several projects on DSLR against my better judgement... A month ago I officially advised agencies I would no longer shoot spots or MV on DSLRs as A cams even if it means selling my S-Class!

I have been patient & supportive and will continue to be... I am doing well with the Red One but do welcome (Desperate Desire) the next generation capabilities of the Epic!!!

Yep. . . scam me again, Jim. We're starting on our second RED film this month. . . this time on M-X. Next time, we're making an epic!

Well, not exactly, as I couldn't afford it then, and went for an HVX instead.

EPIC is my second chance at first love. And this time, I am gathering up the moolah fast! Your schedule will be the only thing between me and my EPIC. ;)
