Hi all. . .

I'm just starting to explore my new Komodo, and really loving what I'm learning so far. I got to RED Control and while I have managed to get communication between the camera and my iPad, and have total control over the camera functions, I'm no longer seeing the camera's image on the iPad. . . just a black screen. What's puzzling is that it WAS there for a bit, and now it's vanished.

Does anyone have a suggestion to get the image back? I have to say, if I can get the image back, RED Control is going to be POWERFUL!

Thanks.

Stephen

This occasionally happens to me, too, Stephen. The only thing I've found to do is quit the application and re-open it. (Assuming re-scanning wifi for the Komodo doesn't fix it.)

Incidentally, I just replaced the short antenna with a larger one (search the Komodo board for discussion on this), and so far my connection has been much more solid.

I just started playing with my Komodo and this happened to me too. Like M Harvey above, it worked it's self out by closing the app and reopening. Seems like a pretty harmless bug.

Thanks guys. My situation was resolved in a crazy way. Quitting and restarting did nothing. For me to get it to work, I literally have to uninstall RED Control and re-install it every single time I turn off my camera. It's no problem if I'm around a fast Wifi, but not so hot out in the field.
