Hey Guys,

I just finished a 3 day shoot using the monster Angenieux 24-290, lovely lens.

We were using a lens support and from what I could work out this was definitely taking all the weight and there was no strain on the mount as with the lens mounted the mount would lock and unlock freely.

I had a little look at my lens mount and the wheel of the PL mount seems to be really loose when not locked... doesn't seem to be an issue when locked... I thought it would just need tightening on the screws but this hasn't seemed to help.. any advice?

If you can post a small cell phone video of the phenomenon that would help. Sounds like it's just loose at the extreme end when not locked, which might be just fine. However, if it's insanely loose it might point out something.

Hey Phil, thanks so much, sorry it took a minute had a night shoot last night. Feels worse in my hand than it looks in the video if that makes sense.

As far as i can see it (your iphone is also moving a lot), there is nothing wrong with the mount, you can move the locker, it has to have some space, otherwise you can't easely put a lens on it.
best Robert
