Looking For A Used Epic X For Sale In The UK

Hi all,

Looking for an Epic X for sale in the UK with duty paid and VAT recoverable. Must be viewable. Must be immaculate, with boxes, low hours and be a complete kit......Touch screen, Bomb EVF, Some media, Battery or batteries, DSMC side handle etc etc. Or 'parts' executed/ordered/back ordered and awaiting delivery?

I was hoping for some movement on Stage 4 in December... so we non RED owners could get an Epic X before the Jan price hikes.

Hi Jean - yes, I've noted yours... :drool: - problem for us Brits (as Iain will attest to) is the duty... it's often luck of the draw on items. I've had the exact same things come in from the USA myself, only to be separated by a few months, and charged differing duty rates - they were low value items so not worth the hassle, but there's a lot of inconsistency on items. VAT isn't the issue as that's a clawback, but duty has to be added into the item value (to be amortised etc) and can be a nasty hit (when keeping within budget).

Also, what's the score on RED Armour? As the ownership transfer only gives 90 days and (unless I've missed it), there's no official word or position from RED on this.

BTW - Iain - many apologies, didn't want to thread hijack... :smile5: but figured import and Red Armour stuff maybe of interest to other people in a similar position that are thinking of a private Epic purchase!
