  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

looking. for a footage created by dragon

I agree with you.... I have my red epic-m and I have priorityk for upgrade. But did not ordered yet. I do not need 6 K. I just need native ISO 2000 as they promissed. That is why for me very interesting to see low light shots.

It's actually kinda funny that there is no footage, am I right?

Like seriously, 10k is a huge price for many... people must really trust RED. I am sure that it's going to be awesome but very strange there is no sample footage.

No one has paid $10K. It is simply a waiting list. Once a buyer's name is up, if they don't feel comfortable, they can pull out of the deal... it is pretty straightforward... Red won't start taking money until they are done and ready to start the upgrades. When they are done, they WILL show footage. SO the timing will *probably* work out that when the first money is actually collected, the first footage will have been shown.

It's only a question of how awesome the footage will be.

Either they are waiting on a piece of showmanship from Fincher or another LOOM type deal, or existing test footage may not be true to the final package due to uncertain technical details. I imagine that's why you shoot a lizard under artificial lighting conditions, because it's not an easily comparable image.

I usually get mistaken for a lizard under any lighting condition :(
