  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Litepanels or F&V lights

Finally decided to go with F&V. I ordered a 3 kit and it arrived right on time for the project below.
It was really challenging as we had only a couple of days to set-up and shoot everything, most of the time, weather was horrible but, when shooting outside, using the Led panels powered with Red Bricks saved us.
For the price, I don't think I could have find better... Really happy with these product.

Great teaser Vincent!

Thanks for the nice words and more footage of skin and other things being shot on RED cameras and lighted by the F&V K4000, images say more than words and your images are beautiful!

Thanks for your feedback Mark-André and thanks a lot for the exchange we had before I decided to buy that kit. It's always good to have a good customer/brand relationship.

Resurrecting this thread - It seems that my F&V stays more than cool enough to just tape a gel directly to the light - are there any issues with doing this? What other solutions have F&V K4000 users found for adding some color to the lights? And any word on those long-rumored barn doors? Thanks!

I taped gel directly to these LED panels quite a lot and never had any issues.

I've got one of these kits and I even added another panel as well. I made a pretty cool home made soft box with an egg crate to siften things up and control the spill. You can easily tape gels to them as the stay quite cool.
