  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Letus Gimbal

Can anyone confirm if the 5400 juice box battery will power the RED Epic AND the Helix unit? (I already emailed Aaron but figured I would ask here as well ;) )

Edit: just got an answer from Aaron. All I need is to get the 2pin to 6 pin lemo cable.... Sweet!!! (Thanks Aaron!)

I can't confirm that, but I think that was the whole point with going with the larger 5400.
 
EDIT: I see it there now-- I must have missed that the first time around somehow.

Question for those who put in your order-- that 2-6 pin I did not see listed under options, but I did see a D-Tap cable listed. Just wondering if I missed something there.
 
Scott,

We keep camera specific option separate so the 2-6 pin is the extra accessories. The D-Tap cable option is for the Anton Bauer/V-lock off-board power option. It should be the last box in the bottom of the order page.

Thanks for the quick response GT. I went back and found it-- sent Aaron a PM about the situation, all should be good either way. This is going to be a great week!
 
For anyone out there lurking on this thread to discern the status of development on the Helix, let it be known that they will be shipping their first production units momentarily. If you want to be notified of the availability of a second round of production, I'd suggest going to http://www.letushelix.com and putting your name on the email list to be notified. No obligation, just a notification.

I dont understand? I paid the deposit and joined there private forum and i have been offered nothing yet?

I think they are proceeding in the order deposits were made. They just started emailing yesterday afternoon and I suppose it will take a few days to work their way through. If you think you have been overlooked you can always check with Aaron via PM.

I think Letus is sending out notification emails based on the day and time you made your deposit. It seems they are just now at the beginning of the list.

Well just payed for our order and pretty much selected and added virtually every option available lol.... I will be posting pictures once we get it.... :)

PC - I, among others, got an email on Monday giving us the link to order. If I understand correctly, they are sending emails in the order the deposits were taken and I know I was in pretty early. I would imagine it will take a few days to work through the list but if you are concerned you may have been overlooked, you may want to send an email or PM to one of the Letus folks.

PC, my understanding is that those who got in on the REDUser group buy are or will be receiving emails to complete and submit their orders in the order in which the initial reservations were made. I don't think there's cause for alarm if you haven't received this email yet, but you could also check with Aaron or someone at Letus to be sure. I have gotten an email and just submitted my order today!:001_cool:

ETA: should have known Terry would beat me, LOL.
