1. The width is the same length with the 1030 small plate. It will work with our Touch and Go plateA few questions, and forgive me if these have been answered elsewhere.
1. is the bottom of the single axis a standard dovetail? meaning will it fit into an conner 2575? I know there are not a ton of applications for this but lets say you wanted to get off of the rig quickly and slap it on a head, this would save you from re balancing back to the helix.
2. I see some power ports on the back. is this a standard Epic lemo power connection?
3. do you see a problem using smaller cameras? 5D, C300? will we need to add weight for the motors to act correctly?
4. How big are the motors compared to Movi?
5. Do you foresee a problem with heavier lenses such as Cookes or RPP?
Loving the design, I love the outside the box thinking on it. Keep up the good work!
Phil.
4. The motor is bigger and more powerful than the Movi.
Hotshoe was mounted to the back by 1/4-20, so if you don't want to use it, just remove it and underneath is the 1/4-20.
3. No problem using any smaller cameras. Just pick a lower power profile.
You can select using the button on the back. Yes the auto tune is in the work. How is this done..?
The DJI Ronin claims to have a one button auto tune to set the motors to
different camera/lens combinations...Is there now or will there eventually be similar option for the Helix..?

2. Power is 2 pins, you can adapt to whatever you would like.

5. Heavier lens would create a forward moment to the system. Our release version is a lot more robust than the off the shelf prototype, should be able to handle it no problem.
@Les These are not Ipower motors... even in the prototype it where better and more expensive motors (I think GB85 class motors 300$ a piece). And Hien / Aaron said the motors in the final Helix will be custom and better. And ofcourse you always pay for some development but I think Letus does a Heck of A job on this one... we should be blessed. Especially when you look at the competition. I did my share on doing some fooling around with some own gimbals / boards etc. It really takes up valuable time... you'd better be out shooting. (But you already said that)
@Blair This is powering the Helix, but you can slap 'any' power source on the gimbal. (Vmount plate, lipo)
@Hien / Aaron is the battery belt included in the Reduser Helix deal? Or standard config?
Hien, what is the belt clip power pack used in your video here: https://vimeo.com/91366669
Aaron will setup a private chat room so all the early adopters will have a private conversation with us. NDA will be needed as we will disclose a lot of cool stuff.
