  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

less than 48 hours...

I'm just excited that I might get to play with this during the daytime hours.. that is, if I can get away from this editing!

Oh Yeah. Nice to see the 4K QT files as well.
 
REDCode RAW QT only supports 2K.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Stew, I remember you posting something about this in one of your many threads in the past few days. You acknowledged someone telling you that 4k will work with the new REDCODE Codec for B16.

* QuickTime codec now supports full resolution reference files and full render quality output

Stew,

F is for FULL

if you shot 2k F is for FULL resolution
If you shoot 4K F is for FULL resolution.
I have now played back 4K resolution QT files.

Just goto Red.com/Support and download the new Quicktime codec.. there is an installer included. You need to reboot after the install.
 
B16 now available...
