We testing those lenses for a project next month I have to say those lenses where the nicest things I stuck onto our Epic so far... We shot with the ultra primes and master primes and so on but to me perfectly clear lenses are not always the best. On those high quality digital cameras I find the Ultra Primes to be like looking out trough a newly cleaned window... The Technovisions on the other hand is like looking through a stack of glass that flares in all ways imaginable. We shot all lenses of the set and they all behave quite similar but this is the 75mm with some color fiddle afterwords in FLAME did one with raw settings as 5700 kelvin and a with 3000 kelvin just to see it in different light. The scene as you will see was poorly lit (it's my flame suite) with there are some yellow/orange uggly shining IKEA lamps in the celling (horrible not only for shooting have to change them to something more balanced soon) and then a construction sight kind of worklamp together with daylight sun slipping in between the curtains... Simply not a nice mix of light at all. But those Technovision lenses makes the worst turd kind of scenery shine like mad. Even this little thing got me thinking of Alien I and all other big movies. Why shoot with anything except anamorphic was atleast my thought.
