  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Lens mounts on weapon

Yes. All current lens mounts will work on Weapon Dragon 6K.

There is the new MG PL Mount which has captive screws and a new locking collar that's out now.

Additionally, when Weapon Dragon 8K drops there will very likely be a new 8K PL Mount with different internal bevels, flocking, and a new exist pupil design to allow for the coverage on that larger than S35 format.

Being the clever guys that you and Matthew are, the Mammy adapter newly constructed has, so to say, accommodated as regards the possible 8K PL Mount you referred to above, correct?

EXIT PUPIL is a lens property. If you mean the mount opening PL pilot diameter is 54mm. 8k sensor diagonal is 46mm
What's the problem?
 
Will the existing lens mounts work with the new 8K sensor? (Nikon, Canon, Leica, PL)
An image circle is an image circle so I can't see why but it shouldn't but have to ask.
 
Hi Phil!

I do hope the new mount mentioned above does NOT incorporate anything like the ARRI PL mount, with the four screws, which seemingly makes the Mammy Adapter impossible to use, as I understand it, with an ARRI system. That may be good...
