LEICA R on RED: Pictures

Thanks to this amazing thread i have invested in my own Leica-R set. I couldn't be more happy! They are simply amazing glass!
But i have a question for you experts here: i frequently use my(converted to EF with Leitax) set with a Sony FS7 with a Metabones Speedbooster, and my latest investment, a Cron 35, extends into the glass of the speedbooster, and therefor keeps it from hitting infinity. My other lenses 28mm El, 50mm Cron, 90mm Cron and 135mm El works as a charm. This is ofcourse a bummer for use with this combo! Cause i absolutely love the 35 cron!!
Question is, anybody know if the 35mm Elmarit would work? I know this might be a long shot on this forum, but i thought it was worth a shot.
Thank you guys and gals for the amazing inspiration on this thread!

Jorgen
I have the 35mm elmarit-R with a Leitax EF mount. It works fine on my Metabones Speedbooster for BMPCC.

Hi Leica's club
A long time I haven't post here.
Here is a frame from a captation done a couple of month ago.

35 summicron, shot on Epic dragon LLO @ 2000 iso.

A short film I shot for Father's Day with my Scarlet-W and Leica R's. Love em, they were the perfect look for the project!

I really used the entire set, the 19mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm.

Thought I'd share an image i took with my 50mm Summilux R and the front element of my V1 19mm R lens that had been damaged beyond repair.

Here's another. This one was shot with my 35mm Summicron R and the V1 19mm R front element. Both shot on Scarlet Dragon.

I'll have to upload the stills later today, but what I did was remove the front element from my 19mm V1 & attached it onto the 35 & 50mm lenses built in shade with some snot tape. The lens shades end up working as a short bellows system to so that's another bonus.

Great short Brian – very well executed and moving too!

Nice look!

I'm also curious about your setup. Did you somehow mount the front element of the 19mm v1 in front of the 35mm, or were you just holding it?

Looks like I won a Leica R 28 2.8 v1 on eBay. I have a few contax lenses and was going to continue building on that with an 85 1.4 contax, but I find that length and longer to be more of a photo portrait type lens myself, or for beauty type shoots more so then narrative. So I decided to get the 28 R, and soon 50 cron. Excited to try it out.

Figured I'd start contributing a bit to the forums. I have a set of Summicron Leica R's from GL Optics and shot on my Red Weapon (just can't beat that combination). I haven't graded them yet, just Dragon Color 2. These particular shots were on the 19mm T2.8 and 90mm T2.0 and were for a golf show pilot

Hey guys. So I received my 28 v1, and just won a 50 cron on eBay for a good price. I currently have a canon 24-70 f4 and 70-300L zooms. This is my second time with canon zooms, I switched to contax zooms, sold those, got canon again. I just can't get over the horrible mechanics with these lenses, sure they have a nice sharp image, but the zoom and focus is crap, the elements rattle etc. Wondering about the R 35-70 f4 and 80-200 f4 combo. How do these compare in sharpness and more importantly, usability and function? focus throw, zoom, focus rings etc, barrel extend, parfocal? Any info or comparisons would be much appreciated. thanks
