Does anybody have a problem with a 35mm Summicron?
I'm trying to figure out if it's the particular copy I have or a general problem with the 35s.
It's super sharp and the corner infinity focus doesn't bother me but it seems to flare way more than the rest of the set.
Not only when it's pointed directly into the light sources but also reflected light, white surfaces, etc....
Appreciate any suggestions.

It maybe a good reason to switch to Summilux set instead, if the problem is inherent with this focal length.

Great looking set Milan!

I haven't seen the 35 Cron flare so easily. Check the optics and if there are excessive scratches or cleaning marks, that very well may be the cause.

thanks Mark, I will check. Though it's similar age as the rest of the set, it has seen a bit more use than the rest.

Your old 90 Cron fits nicely in there, love that lens!

Great shots Lakis and Ryan! Just completed building my set (28mm f2.8, 35 f2, 50 f2, 90 f2, 135 f2.8). Or maybe it should be "completed" because Mark and many others have proven that one can never have too many of these lenses.
