Left side handle options w/dsmc2 side handle?

Hello everyone,

i have a Raven on order and I'm really liking the DSMC2 Side Handle for my run and gun shooting style. I see that with the Side handle you can't use an Outrigger handle for your left hand. Anyone have any other options I can look into. The Side handle with an Outrigger would be a perfect setup for me. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

I'm digging the Smallrig Nato handles: http://www.smallrig.com/Camera-Handles/qr-handles/

if you have a top plate you can pretty easily put a nato rail (http://www.smallrig.com/SMALLRIG-Quick-Release-Safety-NATO-Rail-mount-7cm-1195.html) on the side and another on the top, meaning you can easily switch the handle between left side handle and top handle.


I know Smallrig seem like they just rip off other people's (eg WC) designs of some stuff, but I haven't seen the nato handle done well by anyone else.

I think you can mount a red outrigger handle to use on the left side with the mounting holes on the back of Raven no?

I have the wooden camera side handle and red outrigger handle and prefer the outrigger. I like how it takes a diagonal turn past the mounting point. But you can mount crap more easily on the wooden camera version.

Yes, just mount it onto and the DSMC2 side handle.. goes on the side, hence the name, side handle
