  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Landscape with EPIC...

must be a great feeling to take a sweet image like that through a camera you built....

Psst, Jim, come to Moab, only a 4hr drive from Salt Lake City... Or you can fly into Moab Airport.

Was just reminded how you guys are really gifted with some gorgeous sceneries over there. Stunning!

Jim, Should I sell my Phase One IQ180 just yet?

Ok now you have me excited. This is the use I am looking at your camera for. Next year something goes in a housing and comes swimming with me.

November 3 lets go and then it decision time.

I went to Red Rock Canyon early this morning with Mick Plumridge, Peter Lik's right hand, to test shoot EPIC like a landscape still camera.

15 minutes there and a quick grade.

Beautiful is the word....

Mr. Jannard,
It looks to me as if you had the camera on a Kessler slider on top of a tripod, plus an ND Filter.
Then you lifted the shadows from the bottom, added saturation to the blues to bring out the sky, and added a touch of red saturation for the mountains.

Great shot. Must be amazing to see it in motion.

I was wondering the same thing. Mine hasn't left its cabinet since the Epic arrived, in fact nor have any of my stills cameras....

... must be freakin´ awesome to have your experience ... :-)

... an idea, a quick trip,
to a cool location
experiencing an exquisite moment
of stunning beauty
with a box of metal and some circuits
that didn´t exist a while back
that captures ... moments of art ...

wild.
loving ... :-)

Image looks amazing, I'm really curious, was this stitched together, or just cropped wide?
