The film has been shot on high-definition RED cameras, which have fast earned a reputation as the best way to shoot digital film. It's these that make the Moto images possible, and this is the first project ever to be shot with the company's game-changing new Epic camera. "The new camera we've been using, once it's in its final state, is without a doubt going to revolutionise film," says Williams.

90 sec teaser up on You Tube

Available out of US iTunes store.

From Greg's blog it looks part of the short was shot at Red Studios

Just pulled it up on my iPad. I have to say it's a little freaky seeing a magazine cover come alive like that and the still model start talking to you. Won't be long before Movie posters at the Theaters start doing that and the eyes follow you as you walk by. :)

o.k. i bought i had to see what epic can do.. cant wait to watch .. dont have an ipad but i understand what the idea is and its extremely exciting that this is a whole new industry or at least a new spin

Thanks RED

Its amazing that Epic prototypes are on the streets! Great to know that the dates that you people predicted for every stage are on schedule. So..Tattoos after NAB? Stage 3 by October? Scarlets on next february?
Just waiting ;)

woah!!!
so you're seeing video on the LA time site on your iPad? Hmmm interesting.

The iPAD does not support flash so the vid you are seeing is most likely an mpeg4 streaming directly from an HTML page. An HTML5 page. ie no flash / flash video involved. I can't tell without an iPad
This is very very interesting.

Itunes just has the Iphone version up right now.. they should have the HD version in a couple days.

There may be a battle between RED and Arri right now but there is also a huge battle between Apple and Adobe about the format for future web video delivery!!

i bought and watched the movie just a few mins ago... that was an iphone version..?

HTML5 is truly the future.

So was the Cube. So was Firewire. So was the PowerPC.

Just because Steve says it doesn't make it true, especially in this case, where close to 90% of commercial websites use Flash in one way or anotherr.
