  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

KOMODO....

Hello,

I am interested to know if the red komodo will be netflix approved camera. Cheapest cameras like the s1h are netflix approved.
 
hey guys,

have any KOMODO owners tested with the Hollyland Mars 400s?

I just picked a Mars 400s up from B&H but won't be able to test it (obviously). Curious how the wifi signals will interact with each other.

My ideal monitoring setup for low budget shoots:

- KOMODO w/ SDI based monitor
- Output wifi signal to iPads on set with Mars 400s

And then use my iPhone as backup monitor in case of failure. Presumably I won't be able to use the 400s wifi if that were to happen.

Yes, I think that's why he pulled the video. Maybe the transform is in his edit but it didn't appear in the render, I dunno, but I think he'll upload a new one with the proper transform. Will be interesting to see how they perform together.
I think the BM will perform better in low light, but not much else.

I thought he might have explained something I missed that explained why it looked the way it did. Yeah, curious to see the lowlight and the under and over exposure tests as well.

I finally got around to uploading a video comprised of the sample clips you posted. I think youtube just finished the "HD" version. The 4k DCI version is still uploading. Thanks again Joey for uploading the sample clips.
