I have a problem with a Komodo stuck in Boot-Up. When i switch it ON, the amber light constantly shows. Camera won`t boot up, black screen on the LED-Screen. Camera won`t turn off, when switching the power back off - Amber LED remains, until power to the camera is cut. Anyone have a similar issue or know what to try to resolve the issue? For the life of me i can't find any info on this anywhere, other than the amber indicator means the camera is booting up (or, well trying to...) Any help is appreciated!

First try taking the media card out, any lens adapter off, and remove any battery. Then try and power through just the AC Adapter.

If that doesn't work, turn on the camera and long press (20 seconds) the record button for a hard reset.

Thanks for the quick response! Unfortunately, neither works. I've tried without media, adapter and battery and now the hard reset does not seem to work either. Tried with pressing the record button for at least 25 seconds, (three times) nothing changed. LED still unresponsive, status light is still amber, wheter the switch is on or off.

What lens do you use (and adapter)? Did you try without a lens attached?

There was never a lens attached. Camera was turned on once succesfully and then startet with the booting problem.

I was betting on the lens because I have the same symptoms with one particular lens, but if that's not the cause, it's probably time for a support ticket.

Looks like it. Thanks for your input! What lens do you have the problem with? (just out of curiosity)

It's the Laowa 105mm F2.0 (T3.2) STF. After all, I 'fixed' the problem with a dumb RF-EF adapter.

Was this ever solved? My camera started with the same issues after six months of flawless operation.

Just saw this now, sorry. I sent my Komodo in for repair. They switched out the "Command-Power-Board" and it now works, without any issues.
