Komodo: no fan adjustment in menu

Hello,

I'm new to this forum, so: Hello to everyone.

I bought a new Komodo and tried to adjust everything today and realized, that there is no option to adjust the fan speed in the menu where it should be.

Did anyone else have the same issue?
I installed the latest firmware and also did a hard restore, but nothing changed the problem.

Hi Daniel, welcome to the forum!

Don't look any further, your camera doesn't lack something, the Komodo simply has no Fan Control in its settings.

It's a pitty indeed.

But I try to heat up the camera to balckshade on a bit higher temp so the fan don't turn up too much. But sometimes the fan just do stuff without logic... speeding up event if it's not necessary....

BTW are RED folks from support still in here?

Thanks for your answers. That helps. Though something was wrong, because i've seen some menu walk throughs on Youtube and their Komodos had a fan option: adaptive and quiet.

The firmware was updated long ago and removed this function as it proved unnecessary.
