I’m looking to buy a matte box for my Red Komodo. I’d like to get one with a swing arm. The Wooden Camera one looks good. It takes the square filters.

Does anyone know of a similar matte box that has the option for circular adjustable ND, polarizer, etc. filters? I don’t want a proprietary system, that might be the challenge in this quest. I’m hoping there’s something at a decent price as well.

Thank you in advance.

These are very good.
And I've been rocking the Vocas for 6 or 7 years and it's solid:

Leos Camera in Vancouver is closing and they might be selling some of their Vocas stock at a discount: (604) 685-5331

These both look great, but the prices are too high. Thank you for the input. I may just have to stick to my original plan.

You get what you pay for - I can also vouch for Bright Tangerine. ARRI also. Both offer expensive, well-made, professional tools. There are cheaper options, but remember these words : buy once, cry once.

I agree with the recommendation of Arri and Bright Tangerine matte boxes-- top quality and feature very wide compatibility.

However, the Tilta MBT-12 is another good option, and at half the price. However, there are some cases where you may have compatibility issues, such as with circular polarizers. The Revar Cine rota-pola works, but the Nisi and some others do not. I wind up renting when I need guaranteed compatibility.
