Hey Ketch, Jason here. I dropped by your studio a few weeks ago and met you. I haven't read the boards in several days, but now I see your posting here. Let me know how I can help. Remember I'm only 4 miles from your studio. Thanks.

Will definitely love to have you on board of this ever groin team, so please keep a watch o this thread as I will post details as they become available.
Ciao
Huh Huh, he said groin.. :umm:
This will NOT be a paid job
You mean... not even some free Ketch Frame world famous Tiramisu?
:umm:
I would vouch that the shoot day can not be any less than 2 months out from when it is decided on and that it should be a Saturday.
Hey now..
7pm = dark.
- How is the lighting? Have you done any test shooting since you are right
there?
A) Will be doing so this week!
- are you plugging into their house sound system and also running mics at various locations?
B) Sound is Prerecorded.
- This could edit quicker if we manage to sync all the video cameras and sound recording devices
C) Agreed, and hopefully we can do just that.
- what is the final delivery format?
D) I like to have a deliverables in 4k 2k and 1080P.
- are we shooting more than one show?
E) We are shooting only Sirens of TI for now, but the idea behind this is to then shoot all the MGM/Mirage shows, for hire. If your Q? was if we are shooting the Sirens of TI more then once in the same day, the answer is YES, I want to make sure that we get a good crack at it and have plenty of footage.
- do you have facility layouts, power, munchies(crafty), crew positions, matching ball caps for the crew... er.. well, I mean. walkies, pre- and post- show meeting area(s), paperwork, etc. etc.. all ready to go? (seems like this is being thrown together a little mish-mashed.. but might still work just fine).
F) Yes in deed this is kind of last minute thing, but asap as key players step up, this will all be taken in care of. A meeting with the Executive of Entertainment will be set with me and the DP's to insure that everything will be in place.

Lets do it! So they can have the footage available by Oct 25, anytime between Oct 15 and Oct 22 would work out great for me.
Ketch - I'll PM you more details and ideas for your production.
Anyone with a RED who can make the time to step up to help Ketch with this production, please do so! Beyond the fun of hanging out in Vegas for a few days, Ketch is a great guy. He'll remember those who stepped up to help, and it could easily lead to more work with him in Vegas - paid work. Beyond that, it is also a chance to network with other RED owners, which is very good for your business. I'm going to take the time out of my hyper-busy production schedule to help my friend Ketch out on this. If I can, you can. It will be fun, and the subject matter of Sirens of Ti lends itself really well to images generate by RED cameras. It can seriously give some more flavor to your demo reel.
My next few weeks is looking kinda busy... But my schedule is so sporadic for the rest of the year. Pin down exact dates and I'll see if I can make it.
If it works, it'll be myself and an AC / tech (vegas gambling buddy). RED kit with Cooke 18-100, RED 18-50, some Zeiss primes (probably T2.1 standards).
How will audio be handled on the shoot? And LilRed had some other good questions.
Would like to make a weekend out of it, have fun, see the new KetchFrame sudio...
mmmmm..... tirami su'
