Sorry Terry, not a fan of Bicycle racing, in fact I really don't follow any sports at all, so it will be very unlikely for me to get involved on filming any of them... ;)

Hi Ketch,

Maybe I jump in :-)
I am following Cycling for almost 20 years as sportjournalist. Spring-Classics, Giro d´Italia, Tour de Suisse, Tour of Austria, Tour de France, World Championships. I met a few of the big boys in person. Pantani, Cippolini, Bettini, Bugno, Winokurow, Ullrich, Zabel, Greipel, Evans and Lance Armstrong.

I am going next week to Torino. The Start of the Giro d Italia. With an Epic I could shoot an epic cycling movie...

Norbert - you're my hero. I love cycling and have followed (albeit "on and off") for more than 25 years. I was in the cycling industry for a few years in the late '80s and early '90s. Got to meet some of the legendary North Americans: LeMond, Andy Hampsten, Alex Stieda, Eric Heiden; even had dinner with Lance when he was just a pup!

Have fun shooting all that great action. Would love to see some of what you shoot. And good luck getting that Epic ASAP!! :thumbup1:

Curious about this Ketch -- is it because Milan and other Northern cities are closer to all the high fashion that takes place in Italy ... which I
could understand since still/motion photography of models is a big part of what you do?

I also ask because it seems the more Southern parts of Italy have nicer climates (like Rome, Tuscany, etc) .... but maybe you are tried of the "always warm" weather of California with no season changes ;)

Either way, I cant wait to see it and visit ...

Awesome! I think many people are not aware of how many M buyers actually have more than one ..... ;)

Hopefully some matched Leica sets coming with them as well that I can check out when I come to Italy ;)

P.S. -- Ketch about to send you first revised page. The rest tomorrow. Really looking forward to spending some time once you are settled I think I can make a great contribution to the studio and knowing your vision, it really warms my heart to be able to support what you are doing :)
