  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

KETCH ROSSi

Wow Ketch, you'are an amazing guy, good luck with the supertech estudio, Italian Cinema is sure to come back to its glory there after so many decades, and what a great guy it must be to hang out with Jutson, what a guy!

Nice!! Bring on the Atom braddah :hurray:

Hopefully next week Steve, and we are going to rock and roll, with our first Atom buddy... ;)

Thanks Armand, and welcome to Reduser!! I promise you that in few years Italian Cinema will never be the same... ;)

Looks awesome Ketch!! I got to meet Nathan and Leonard at NAB, really great guys. Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves..... ;)

Yeah great guys indeed, all I can say of E3D's new rigs is that they will make an excellent addition to our ET Atom rigs, but that their INSANE capacity of control will sure make things lot easier... ;)

Wow looks like one more interesting 3D rig is joining the game.
But Ketch...why does your shirt say: SD?
Are you allready ahead again running a dragon sensor which makes MX look like SD?
hahah I wouldn't even be surprised anymore after a NAB like this.

Ha ha, you sure do notice things JK, this 3D rig form E3D sure does bring something very interesting to the game,
and what I love is that the game is changing the rules again and again... such a fantastic times to be a Filmmaker... ;)

Hehe. SD=Silver Dagger, the brand of Ketch's clothing. :)

That rig looks very sexy Ketch. We've got our eyes and ears peeled for what's next.

Give us few days and we'll post some Joseph style BTS video as well as some stills and info on the E3D... ;)

Our first ET Atom rig should also come home this week, so my first 3D images coming next... ;)

Can't wait to see what you and Jake come up with, lots of respect for Jake's work

Nate and Leo came by Friday to show me the rig.. it has some pretty clever tech.

In deed it does Jarred, and we are proud to say that KETCH ROSSi STUDiOS in addition to the multiple ET's ATOM rigs with Gates Deep Atom,
will sports several of E3D's 3D rigs, which again, will be so much more compact and lighter then this prototype.

And anyone who is serious about 3D would be foolish to overlook what's at hand. And for the record, I have no financial interests in the well being of E3D...

I was there with Ketch, Joseph, Nate and Leo (among others) and operated a few shots on the rig in it's current state (without the weight reduction). I was a 3D novice at the start of the shooting day and by evening had not only shot handheld with Nate but felt confident that the rig would allow the shooting of technically accurate 3D after minimal prep with the E3D team.

Big thank you to the E3D guys for being so generous with their time.

hehe...

The day has finally come. Today, I am taking KETCH ROSSi to LAX for his flight to ITALY!

We are nearly finished with packing the 40' container and I think, just maybe, Ketch is serious when he says "Goodbye"...

Yesterday we shot our final video within the US. A "Goodbye" along with a show of just how smart of a packer Ketch really is when it comes to how much he has been blessed to acquire for his opening of KETCH ROSSi STUDiOS.

PERSONAL NOTE: KETCH, you will be dearly missed here in the US but I realize this is really just the beginning. It has been quite the inspiration to work with you and to get to know how far your generosity reaches into the lives of countless others. Thanks for all you have done and what I know you will continue...
