:::THE IDEA:::
As I prepare to permanently move back home (Italy), I wish a final farewell to my beloved USA which has been my
home for the past 22 years. I have decided to embark in an EPIC tour of America with EPIC-M8
Big thanks to Steve Gibby for letting us take our baby on this trip.

This tour will have a much deeper meaning than just having something to show my family back at home.
It will be a memento for me to reflect upon an important chapter in my life...and much much more.

:::THE PLAN:::
Joseph Hutson (my accomplice), and I will fly city to city starting here in Los Angeles (LAX).
In each city we visit, we plan to showcase its beauties by capturing them in the EPIC's full 5k glory!

:::WHAT WE NEED:::

Hosts

What is a host? It is an individual or a company who wishes to represent their city/business in the best light possible.
They know their area well (they know the beautiful nearby shooting locations) and or their business has something to offer.
This does include the possible collaborative effort of a mini-Movie style shoot.

Also they will be willing to provide transportation and lodging.

:::WHEN:::
Monday, March 21st we set out for our first destination. As this entire week develops we may properly schedule our "EPIC" adventure!

:::HOW:::
We will gather all cities to visit during this week, accordingly to the offers received by our Community's members that wish to "host" us.

:::DISCLAIMER:::
At this time we can not make promises that each host will have the privilege of personally self-operating the EPIC.
However, we will make it our duty to share to the maximum of our ability...

:::NOTE:::
We will not be able to accept all offers but we appreciate each and every one of them made to us.
We also look forward to sending RED our captured materials for the upcoming EPIC Reel for NAB... ;)

Thanks for replying within this thread, and we look forward to this opportunity...

:::SPONSORS:::

:::WHAT WE NEED:::
We are currently receiving sponsorships from companies and individuals alike.
This come in the form on not only Gear, but also Cash Investments for advertisement purposes,
which in turn is allowing us to enhance the production value of this Epic American Tour.
Names and logos of all Sponsors.

:::SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS:::

In each city we plan to produce a comprehensive behind the scenes look at what we are doing,
and what we are doing it with, to include all gear and accessories used. We will also promote Businesses,
by including their Names and Logos in each and every documented Behind-The-Scenes video, as well as in the final EPIC FOOTAGE.
Previous traffic statistics (provided by Vimeo.com) have shown over 160 countries viewing our
EPIC Videos due to social networking via Twitter and FaceBook, plus viewers re-blogging on multiple sites.

If you come to Phoenix, you're staying in our home Ketch!

Unless of course you prefer to stay in a cold, lifeless hotel room that lacks delicious Puerto Rican food and Caribbean hospitality! :)

P.S. If we go to the Grand Canyon, we'll have to try to get down to Havasupai Falls!

And if we get to Tucson, we'll have to visit Kartchner Caverns to put that 5K MX sensor to the full test.

Thank you kindly Michael, Phenix will be surely considered as we can not miss shooting the Grandiosity of the Grand Canyon.

We don't like cold Hotel rooms... this is why we wish for our Hosts collaborative efforts ;)

Good Luck Guys!
Happy Shootings...;)

Have Fun.:thumbup1:

Awesome! I'm so looking forward to it.

Michael, the Grand Canyon is high on our list. Suggestions like "Havusapai Falls" are also what we like as well. :)

sounds like an awesome trip! travel safe guys:-)

if only I had a place in which I can host I would:-P and aside from military related stuff I don't know too many things in San Diego that would make an awesome Epic shoot:-P

Havasupai falls is a place close to my heart, as are the Havasupai - literally people of the blue-green water - whose role in the universe is to be the Guardians of the Grandmother Canyon. If you do visit, I hope you do not simply record the natural beauty of their land (and with their permission), but take note that their sacred place of emergence on the plateau is once again threatened by a uranium mine. This is a battle that started over 20 years ago, and served as the motivation for my first foray into video documentation.

Hey Ketch, you're always welcome here in Frederick, MD. I can take you around DC and Baltimore. If my Epic-M arrives in time then I could shoot 5k footage of you shooting 5k footage. :)

There's a lot of natural beauty to be found around here as well, but it doesn't reveal itself as quickly as out West.

I would love to offer to PA, or any other function in assisting 2 of my Epic heroes.

In using the Sacramento as a hub, you have within 2 hours, the Bay Area, wine country, Sierra Nevada mountains/Tahoe (WHICH HAS TO BE ON YOUR LIST!

Although perhaps not a day trip, Bodie is so classical American, as the best Gghost Town, and nearby, Virginia City.

And something that would so deserve to be covered (even though I want to do it), Malakoff Diggins State Park would be amazing in 5K (even 4K would be amazing. I will bring my R1-MX.

I can go on.... but that is enough to fill at least 3 days.

And for my home state of Arizona, Sedona/Oak Creek offer some oft-photographed, but always worth capturing in a new or different way.

I agree with Scott, the Sierra Nevada's are amazing, especially if you can make it to the Giant Sequoias.

If you stop by Richmond, VA I at least want the chance to shake hands and say hello to you both in person!

Havasupai would be great but its closed to visitors until May 1st because of last years floods

Hi Ketch,

It´s a litte bit off topic.

You are coming home. Maybe you will start an EPIC Tour in gold old Europe. Innsbruck is ready...

Nice to see another Frederickian here. We're a small city, but it's a wonderful place with a lot of history - and just an hour from DC and Baltimore. Maryland itself has a lot to offer, from towns to cities to farms to mountains to beaches all in close proximity.

Please stop by Denver. I'd be happy to host you fellas for a night or two and show you the town. We have some insane locations here that are begging to be captured in 5K. Please email me if you want to entertain the offer. Thanks!
